Objective and scope
83ok maintains an anti-money laundering (AML) program designed to prevent, detect and report money laundering, financing of terrorism, and other illicit financial activities. The policy governs all users, accounts and transactions conducted on or through the 83ok platform, including deposits, transfers, wagering and withdrawals, and covers the collection, processing, retention and sharing of information for AML purposes.
Governance and AML program components
-
KYC and due diligence: 83ok applies a risk-based approach to customer onboarding, including verification of identity and assessment of customer risk prior to permitting ongoing activity.
-
Transaction monitoring and risk assessment: ongoing surveillance of payments and gambling activity to identify suspicious patterns or behaviors that require escalation.
-
Payout controls and risk mitigation: implementation of payout policies, velocity checks, limits, and escalation flows to manage payout risk.
-
AML Officer and governance: designation of a dedicated AML Officer (MLCO) responsible for policy oversight, implementation, reporting to management and internal communications of AML procedures.
-
Training and awareness: regular training for employees on AML procedures, suspicious activity reporting and regulatory obligations.
-
Periodic review and updates: the AML framework is reassessed at least annually and adjusted in response to product changes, new payment methods, regulatory developments or material changes in risk environment.
Onboarding and identity verification
-
Mandatory information collection: during registration, 83ok collects full name, date of birth, address, contact details and relevant payment information, and the information must be true and current. The company reserves the right to suspend or close an account if verification fails or information is false or misleading.
-
Identity and age verification: applicants must be at least 18 years old. Identity documents and proof of address may be requested. Access to wagering or withdrawals may be restricted until verification is completed; winnings may be forfeited if the account is later determined to belong to an underage user.
-
Documentation and verification timelines: if electronic verification is inconclusive, the user may be required to provide additional documents within 72 hours. Accepted documents may include a passport or national ID, and a recent utility bill or bank statement to verify identity and address.
-
Risk-based screening and high-risk customers: customers are automatically flagged based on risk indicators such as country of residence, country of card issuance, IP address history and transaction velocity; higher risk accounts may face deposit restrictions or enhanced scrutiny.
Ongoing monitoring and risk management
-
Transaction monitoring: continuous analysis of payments and gambling activity to detect anomalies and potential AML issues.
-
Suspicious activity identification and escalation: any suspicious transaction or behavior is logged, assessed for risk, and reported to the competent authorities when required by law, with internal actions including restrictions or closure of accounts as appropriate.
-
Risk indicators: activity is evaluated against parameters such as residence country, card issuer country, IP history and transaction frequency to determine applicable level of due diligence.
Account integrity and access controls
-
Single account rule: users may hold only one account; attempts to create multiple accounts may result in closure or consolidation of accounts, and any bets or winnings may be voided at the administrator’s discretion.
-
Account security: users must maintain confidentiality of login credentials and promptly report any suspected breach. 83ok disclaims liability for losses resulting from unauthorized use where negligence is found.
-
Deposit and payout flows: all funds and withdrawals are subject to verification; payouts require successful verification and may be blocked or delayed pending document review.
Compliance with law and geographic restrictions
Participation in 83ok’s services is conditional on compliance with applicable laws. 83ok may suspend, restrict or terminate access for users or jurisdictions where online gambling is prohibited or where operations would breach local regulations. The list of restricted territories is reviewed and updated periodically. 83ok may also suspend or reverse payments if unlawful activity is suspected or established, and may cooperate with authorities in investigations as required by law.
Data privacy and information sharing
Personal data collected for AML purposes is processed in accordance with 83ok’s privacy policy. When required by law or regulatory authorization, 83ok may share relevant identity, contact and transactional information with competent authorities, payment processors and financial institutions for AML and fraud-prevention purposes. Data retention will align with legal obligations and internal policy.
Communications, changes to policy and enforcement
83ok may modify this AML policy or related terms with immediate effect. Material changes will be communicated via the platform or by email when practicable. Continued use after such notice constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. If you do not agree, you may cease using the service and close your account.
